Michiel started his company 'Accountable Marketing BV' back in 2004. Ever since he has worked with hundreds of marketers (at all levels) to deploy accountability. In 2012 he published his first book (in Dutch; MarketingKassa) and republished it in English: YES! Accountable Marketing, spring 2018. Besides working with business owners to decrease their profit leakage he runs an online coaching and training business to assist marketers and management teams to develop an accountable way of doing marketing. By doing this he has either prevented marketing budgets being 'wasted' or increased marketing & sales' effectiveness, or both.
